We’re making a connection at Forrestfield

With the development spotlight on Forrestfield, Hawaiian is excited to share that we are preparing to upgrade the Forrestfield Forum & Marketplace, with works commencing early September.
Following minor works to the buildings since taking ownership early 2015, we have been planning further redevelopment and rebrand of the centre to follow suit of others within our retail portfolio, including Hawaiian’s Bassendean and Mezz shopping centres.
We have seen the progress being made with the upcoming Forrestfield-Airport Link and other developments in the area and the incredible opportunity it allows us to evolve the role we play within the community during this progressive time.
The roll out of Stage Two of the planned works will see the centre’s design reconfigured to integrate with the local residents’ lifestyle and its immediate surroundings, forming a greater community hub.
The major change will be the pedestrianising of the internal road between the Forum and Marketplace, enabling the incorporation of a play area and alfresco dining with an extended dining and lifestyle offering. The first new food tenant to join the centre will be Big T’s American Diner, which is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
During this process the centre will also undergo a rebrand, transitioning to become Hawaiian’s Forrestfield.
Works to the shopping centre are set to be complete by mid-December this year.
